Flora Childbirth

Flora Childbirth needed a website redesign. The original website used several bold colors (gold, teal, maroon, and more), and a variety of shapes with sharp angles and soft angles—all combined with multiple collages of images. The shapes clashed with the images, and the entire design contradicted the company’s services: prenatal care, baby delivery, and postpartum care. Flora Childbirth contracted me for a VIP day, and we had a blast collaborating on the redesign (and total transformation) of the website.

Flora Childbirth

Flora Childbirth’s website is soft, gentle, and feminine. Its design is easy to navigate, and it accurately represents the services Flora Childbirth provides. I used a mix of stock photos for their industry and images they provided in the website design. I also added touches of peony leaves and flowers to make the website even more beautiful, and to connect to the company’s new logo. I added a few subtle curves to borders, and a couple of backgrounds with various leaf patterns to soften some of the bolder colors and to tie to the natural touches throughout the website. Finally, I included a soft animation for the entire website and a specific gentle animation for the hero section on the homepage.
