I loved what Chelsea shared with me during our discovery call. She said her website was created several years ago, and she recognizes that she has grown personally and professionally since then. She wanted a new website that reflected her growth. She knew her website needed focus, strategy, and a sleek new design that would pair well with the glow-up she was giving her salon.. She also wanted to be more strategic about the audience her website would target because she prefers to work with women who embrace their natural looks. She doesn’t want clients who require a lot of maintenance. With this in mind, Chelsea and I partnered on her project and built a beautiful new website for her.

I started the website redesign process with a website audit. After Chelsea and I reviewed the audit and dialed in a direction, I got busy with her website. I started with keyword research for Chelsea’s site, and each page on her new website specifically targets valuable keywords with a strategic structure for each page. Chelsea created an Elfsight widget to showcase her excellent Google reviews, and I embedded the widget on her website.
Chelsea had new professional photos taken for her website, and they were perfect for the design. I selected natural, welcoming, warm colors for her color palette, and we used an accent script font strategically throughout her site.
This was the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to update her services and her prices, and I built her services page with the new service names, descriptions, and pricing. I also created an add-on menu for Chelsea’s add-on services. Chelsea recommends certain hair products to her clients, and her “Products” page showcases Chelsea’s favorite products.
I connected Chelsea’s existing booking system (Acuity) to her website so that her clients can book their appointments directly from her website. I also created a robust contact page with a link to her booking platform and all of her contact information. The footer includes quick links, legal policies, and contact information.
