Tina Shang, an attorney, had dreamed of opening her own law office, and she decided it was finally time. Of course, she needed a website with strategic SEO. One of my former web design clients, also an attorney, referred Tina to me. so she reached out to me. When I initially met with Tina, she articulated that she wanted to start with a small website that was easy to navigate and showcased her education, professional skills, and personal interests.

I designed the Next Step Legal website with a hiking theme—something that worked well with her business name and her passion for the outdoors. Also, Next Step Legal is located in Teton Valley, a high altitude region at the base of the Teton Mountain Range known for it’s easy access to outdoor activities and healthy lifestyle. The logo Tina provided is a hiking boot on a green background—perfect for her website. The website colors are natural and neutral, and they align with the theme from Tina’s logo. I also used a unique graphic, hiking boot tracks, to add design interest and connect the website visitor to the theme. Most of the section borders are straight, but I used a curved border for the hero section to soften the design.
Tina wants her clients to contact her through the contact form on her website, so I designed a contact form to align with the aesthetic of her website and connected the responses to her professional email address. I also designed a form for her homepage to make it easy for potential clients to get in touch with her.
Tina’s website was a blast to build, and Tina was an exceptionally fun client. Just another reason I love what I do!
