Dr. Janice Blair contacted me about a website for her career transition from clinical psychologist to life coach. She wanted a website that would be straightforward to navigate—something she could send former colleagues and clients to, but not something that would rank on Google because she’s already busy and she’s not looking for new clients. Dr. Jan loves lighthouses, her dogs, and quotations. She wanted these to be central to the design of her website.

I used a beautiful night sky with a lighthouse for the hero section of this website, and different lighthouses are found strategically on the website. The most difficult part of this website build was incorporating the quotes (text) strategically on a website that already had an abundance of text. By using a script and, in some cases, contrasting color, I was able to use the quotations as design elements. My client provided all of the quotations and some of the lighthouse images for this website design.
